Vehicle Booking and Repair Authorisation Policy

1. Request versus confirmation

Submitting the online booking form requests an appointment only. Availability and acceptance are confirmed separately. No chargeable repair work is authorised by submission or by reading a privacy notice.

2. Approving charges and work

Diagnostic/inspection charges must be disclosed before commitment. Approval must identify the vehicle, agreed scope and relevant charges, whether recorded in a written estimate/quotation or other appropriate agreed record. The existing customer portal allows quotation approval, decline or a discussion request; a quotation decision is distinct from the booking request.

Additional work requires appropriate further approval before it proceeds. A finding or recommendation is not customer authorisation. Keep the original complaint and approved scope in the job history; explain material changes and retain the decision record.

3. Procedures and changes

Agree relevant permissions for testing, disassembly and road tests as appropriate. Contact the workshop to change or cancel a request or discuss an approved scope; do not assume an unconfirmed cancellation message stops already-authorised work immediately. Any lawful cancellation costs must have been appropriately disclosed and assessed.

These draft terms do not exclude mandatory rights or remedies under South African law, including the Consumer Protection Act (CPA). No blanket waiver of liability, automatic deposit forfeiture or unfair cancellation penalty applies through this website.
