1. Statutory repair warranty
CPA section 57 provides a warranty for each new or reconditioned part installed during repair or maintenance and the labour required to install it, for 3 months from installation, or a longer period specified in writing. It runs concurrently with other deemed, implied or express warranties.
Under section 57 the warranty is void if the consumer subjects the part, or the goods/property in which it was installed, to misuse or abuse; it does not apply to ordinary wear and tear having regard to the intended ordinary use. These provisions require case-specific assessment and do not create a blanket exclusion for every later fault.
2. Additional warranties and other rights
Any additional parts/workmanship or supplier warranty must be specified in writing with its scope and conditions. Supplier procedures do not replace mandatory statutory rights against the service provider. Other applicable CPA remedies remain available. No shorter blanket warranty, dealer accreditation, industry membership or additional guarantee is claimed.
3. Reporting and investigating a concern
Contact the workshop email with the job/quote reference, vehicle, relevant dates, a description of the issue and relevant photographs if available. If a safety concern arises, avoid further unsafe use and arrange advice/inspection. We acknowledge the concern, review the approved scope and records, arrange assessment and communicate findings, proposed lawful remedy and any reasons for refusal. No unverified complaint-response deadline is promised.
If unresolved, request review by the responsible company head and consider the applicable consumer complaints body, National Consumer Commission, Information Regulator for privacy matters, or a competent court. This does not claim membership of any industry body or remove your statutory escalation rights.
Send questions or requests to Admin@n4autowerks.com. Include your name, contact method and enough information to identify the relevant booking, vehicle or record. Do not email passwords or unnecessary identity documents.
These draft terms do not exclude mandatory rights or remedies under South African law, including the Consumer Protection Act (CPA). No blanket waiver of liability, automatic deposit forfeiture or unfair cancellation penalty applies through this website.
